Sheffield CF BackBoris in London
Sheffield CFers made the 160 mile trip down to join London CFers and to play their part in the BackBoris2012 campaign.
Their team, led by Chairman Jeevan Mehat, joined London Area Chairmen Jason Theo George and Harriet Holmes as well as London Chairman, Nicolas Clark, and GLA Candidate for Enfield Haringey, Cllr Andy Hemstead, in campaigning in the Enfield North constituency.
The combined efforts of campaigners helped to deliver the Boris message to the whole ward. London CF provided lunch, accommodation and post-campaigning drinks for all our guests who headed out into the Capital for a night out.
Local MP, Nick de Bois, tweeted his gratitude to the activists and either Boris Johnson or Lynton Crosby are writing to the Sheffield CFers with a personal thanks for their efforts.
Keeping Boris in City Hall will play a big role in not only stopping Ken's cronies from returning to London but Labour and Ed Miliband from standing on the steps of No10. CFers from outside the Capital coming to help BackBoris will be key to success as the Sheffield activists have shown.
