Role: CF Policy Forum Director

This is your opportunity to run an organisation at the heart of policy making in the Conservative Party and Conservative Future.  

Conservative Future last year set up the Conservative Future Policy Forum designed to represent the views of members on policy grounds, hold regular debates and fun events around the country.

This year the National Executive wants to expand the organisation, make it more independent and make it a lot more professional.

This is your opportunity to get involved.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent the views of CF members on policy matters to the National Party
  • Produce responses to the Party on policy papers sent out once a month
  • Create fun debates and events across the UK and Parliament on issues that relate to the papers being sent around
  • Outside the box thinking to get more people involved in the policy forum
  • Create a quarterly magazine for members to voice their views on key issues within CF
  • Bring in sponsorship to fund events and magazine
  • Create a team to support the Forum’s Operations
  • Encourage the creation of CF Policy Forums across the UK
  • Ensuring all Regions have a CF Policy Forum Officer with events and responses coming in to feed into the party
  • Handle communications and create a website and online presence
  • Working with the National Chairman and Executive on some major policy work
  • Produce a clear and coherent media strategy that ensures CF connects with young people across the UK
