Launch of Wantage and Didcot CF
Sunday saw the launch of the newly formed Didcot and Wantage Conservative Future Branch. The launch was held in a village in the constituency and was well attended by Conservative Future and association members alike. The association Chairman, Deputy Chairman and local MP, Ed Vaizey, were all present.
The group has previously been active in the local elections, the ‘Back Boris’ Campaign and had held some socials. However CF member Jacob Harris said, "It was good to finally have an official launch with the association and MP present, the launch now means the Branch can start on a recruitment campaign and build up its presence locally".
There are now plans to hold a social event in July and start a Social Action project in within the local community. Ed Vaizey has also asked to have a meeting specifically with the branch to discuss possible future events and how to boost membership.
