The CCA Local Government Conference will be held on Friday 5th – Saturday 6th March 2010 at Hotel Russell, London.
The Conference will be attended by several members of the Shadow Cabinet, including Caroline Spelman MP, Shadow Minister for Local Government, and other key players in local government. Boris Johnson, Mayor of London, will also be addressing delegates, along with Party Chairman, Eric Pickles MP.

This year’s National CF Christmas Party will take place on Saturday 5th December at The Warwick.
Next year we will have a General Election and CF must be ready for the fight; this Christmas though we should celebrate our successes to date.
On Tuesday, 13th October Cities of London and Westminster CF launched our annual Poppy Appeal – and your branch should get involved too! In this post I’ll detail the few easy steps you need to take in order to start collecting for our veterans, service personnel and their families.
Our appeal was endorsed by Gerald Howarth MP, Shadow Defence Minister for procurement and the Royal Air Force, and marks the start of our third year collecting. To date we’ve raised nearly £8,000 and hope to smash to £10,000 mark this season.

The 6th Young Britons’ Foundation Activist Training Conference will take place from lunchtime on Friday, 23 October 2009 to lunchtime Sunday, 25 October 2009 at Wellington College, Berkshire.
This year’s YBF Conference will be much more interactive, with students working closely with mentors as they discuss how to handle a political war-game over the course of the weekend. Students will also get the chance to devise campaign strategy and design campaign materials, debate issues with conservative movement leaders and hone campaigning skills in readiness for the general election next year.

This year’s Conference Social Action Project is working to transform the Radcliffe Girls and Boys Club.
Radcliffe Girls and Boys club started as a boys’ football club in the late 1960’s and evolved into a Girls and Boys club in the early 1970’s. The club was founded by Ronnie Morris, a former Conservative Mayor of Radcliffe, and his son, Cedric Morris is still involved with the club.
