Prospective MEPs visit Birmingham Uni CF

On Friday Birmingham University CF hosted Anthea McIntyre and Daniel Dalton, prospective Conservative candidates for the European Parliament in the West Midlands, on campus.
Both candidates opened themselves up to questions from any students, of any political persuasion, interested in learning more about the European elections, the Conservative European position, and the personal objectives of both Dan and Anthea, were they to be elected. From the outset, it is hard to deny that their open and direct answers to a pretty intense stream of questioning were convincing, humble and above all, honest.
Students …

Former CF National Chairman needs YOU!

Paul Bristow is an example of how far any Conservative Future activist can go, if they want to.
Paul was National Chairman of CF 2003 – 2005. He is now our PPC for the seat of Middlesbrough South and East Cleveland -  you can follow his campaign on Facebook here.
This weekend Paul has a hectic campaign day scheduled, with two street stalls and an afternoon of canvassing and leafleting.
So if you’re free this Saturday from 11am, and in the North-East of England, come out and support one of CF’s exemplars. Paul …

Hague joins CF in Doncaster

On Saturday, 9th May, William Hague MP joined Conservative Future activists in Doncaster campaigning for the European elections.

We doff our caps to Area Chairman James Gould for leading this fantastic push – the picture says it all!

This is classic CF, doing what it does best.

Rain or shine, it’s campaigning time!

This weekend was a bit on the damp side, but Birmingham University CF didn’t let that stop them.

They were out busily campaigning for change on June 4th. Sahar Rezazadeh was only elected chairman a week ago, so it’s great to see her already taking decisive action.

Remember to keep sending your campaign dates for the CF Campaigning Map.

CFers raise £3,800 for troops and their families

The cold evenings of last November seem distant, what with all this Spring sunshine, but it’s only a few months since Conservative Future activists from my own branch, the Cities of London & Westminster CF (CLWCF), were out on the streets every night for two weeks and weekends, collecting for the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal 2008.

This is the second year that the branch has taken part in the Poppy Appeal. Last year we raised over £3,100.

This year we beat that total – raising an astonishing £3,796!

Launch of CF Campaigning Map

Today Conservative Future introduces a new campaigning tool in the run-up to the European and council elections on June 4th.

Akin to the main Party’s Campaign Together tool, we have put together a map of the UK which exclusively displays upcoming CF campaign days, with contact details for every event, so that activists can easily locate events in their region to support.

CF’s campaigning prowess was showcased by our recent co-ordinated Budget stunt which saw over 20,000 pieces of literature distributed.

Campaigning under Labour’s noses

This past Saturday, 28th, activists from Cities of London and Westminster CF descended on Westminster North and delivered 15,000 pieces of literature right under the noses of beleaguered Labour in just a few hours.

This is CF at it’s best – self-motivated, efficient and effective.

As we begin the campaign for the European Elections 2009 it’s time for CF to do what CF does best – get out there and fight.
