Some CFers may want to get involved with this year’s Schools Question Time:
Schools Question Time is a Political Literacy and Citizenship Life Skills initiative supported by Parliament’s Education Service, the Institute for Citizenship and the BBC. The initiative is designed to provide a unique chance for young people to participate in activities which will encourage them to become active and informed citizens.
There are two strands to the initiative:

An opportunity to put on your own Question Time …
This might seem like a slight obvious question, but many branches do not have a website. Tools like Facebook mean that some branches have not bothered with an independent online presence – and you must!
We need to be much more professional in the work we do and a good website is a very easy way to do this.
For over 18 months we’ve had CFBranch.com – a free website hosting offer for branches. Thanks to the kind support of Politicos Online any branch can setup a free website in seconds.
We’ve also …

This year’s YBF Conference will be much more interactive, with students working closely with mentors as they discuss how to handle a political war-game over the course of the weekend. Students will also get the chance to devise campaign strategy and design campaign materials, debate issues with conservative movement leaders and hone campaigning skills in readiness for the general election next year.

This year’s Conference Social Action Project is working to transform the Radcliffe Girls and Boys Club.
Radcliffe Girls and Boys club started as a boys’ football club in the late 1960’s and evolved into a Girls and Boys club in the early 1970’s. The club was founded by Ronnie Morris, a former Conservative Mayor of Radcliffe, and his son, Cedric Morris is still involved with the club.
Since the 1970’s it has settled into its current role as a general activities club for young people from age 7 upwards. The older children …

One of the events being run in the Freedom Zone @ Conference is just for under 30s and is a great way for CF members to improve their public speaking skills:

A message from Tim Dier, Chairman of IYDU:

The official Conservative Future Twitter account, @ConsFuture, has just broken the 2,000 mark for supporters – is your branch one of them?
Twitter is one of the leading names in new/social media (although Facebook is trying very hard to stop it) and provides an easy way for CF branches to spread their message. You can setup an account for free in a few minutes, and it allows you to share a short simple message with people across the country.
Not sure what Twitter is all about? The website Mashable has put a …
