London CF Storms Ahead with 25,000 Leaflet Drop in Sutton

28 September 2009 Clare Hilley No Comment

On Saturday London Conservative Future delivered over 25,000 pieces of literature in the top target seat of Sutton. The event, which was organised with PPC Philippa Stroud, was attended by over 30 activists from across the UK.

It was fantastic to see so many people helping to deliver a message of change.

The team met in two groups at 9.30am, arriving at the meeting point for 10am for two campaign sessions followed by an association lunch.

Campaign Director Patrick Sullivan was delighted with the turn out, “It was an early start but everyone went the extra mile to make the day a huge success. It was also great to see two new members of the national executive committee supporting such a critical campaign day.”

Last week London Conservative Future offered members of London Liberal Youth the opportunity to join the movement’s increasingly large campaign force. The group is currently in discussions with what leading bloggers described as ‘fruitful negotiations’ with several senior members of Liberal Democrat Youth about joining the committee.

The event was filmed by CFTV and supported by Conservative Future’s new press officer.
