Cheap travel to Norwich North
If you’re planning to come campaigning with us in Norwich North over the next few weeks it pays to book your travel in advance.
This Saturday there is a free coach from London, but space is limited. (see previous post)
This Sunday there are some great deals to be had on National Express trains from Liverpool Street. The cheapest fares to and from Norwich are, amazingly, to be had by purchasing two first class single tickets. This allows you to obtain a return set of tickets for under £20. For details of services see http://www.nationalrail.co.uk. You may find booking through a site other than National Express East Anglia easier.
Please also be aware of engineering works affecting the line. I understand these are set to improve, but certainly this weekend a replacement bus service is in operation on part of the route in the morning.
And of course, if you don’t have a 16-25 Rail Card yet, a couple of trips to Norwich and back will more than make it worth obtaining. Details at http://www.16-25railcard.co.uk/

Also, 4 travel for the price of 2 tickets are available on the day of travel, just ask at the travel office for a group save discount. It will take the cost down to £20 each without a rail card.
This also applies to 3 who can travel for the price of 2.
