Each month that Gordon Brown delays in calling a General Election, is a another month that CF readies itself to help oust him. We are now getting gearing up for our biggest recruitment campaign of the year; Freshers’ Fairs! Last year we sent over 100 packs out to branches and this year we are going to send even more. Patrick Sullivan is running it this year so do send him your ideas for what should be included in the pack. We also have setup a form on the CF website so that you can register for a pack – see the ‘Branches’ section below for more info on that.
Of course, the battle on the doorstep never ceases; alongside all the local work CF branches do, we also have the Norwich North by-election coming up. This is another chance for the voters of this country to tell Brown what they think of him and another chance for CF to make a positive impact on a national scale. I do hope you will be able to come up and help us out – again see details below for more on that.
The final thing is we have launched some surveys to find out what you think about the national organisation, and especially the new Regional Chairman role. We’ve kept the surveys intentionally short so as many CFers as possible can take part without taking up too much time. Please do visit the page and take part in these – once again, scroll down for details.
So keep working those doorsteps, fighting the good fight and let’s hope we can have a Conservative government soon!
Regards,
Michael Rock

Branch of the Month
A feature to highlight the great work our branches do, as well as providing advice and ideas to other branches.
Exeter University/Exeter City & East Devon

The award this month is shared by these two branches. Together they organised and ran a stall at the Devon County Show for 3 days. During this they got MEPs, MPs and local officers along. A great effort and promotion/recruitment tool for the branches.
