Have your say on CF

22 June 2009 Michael Rock No Comment

Over the last 15 months, we have taken great steps to improve the infrastructure of Conservative Future. One of the main parts of this was the introduction of Regional Chairman, in December of last year. At the launch we intended to hold a consultation on the regional structure to see what people think of the concept and how they felt each region should be organised. Initially this was aimed for the early part of 2009 but, given the significant developments in some regions, we decided to wait six months so people could actually have a chance to see the Regions in action.

The development of each region has not been uniform, as expected. I, personally, anticipated a significant disparity between the regions and really want to take this opportunity to develop a ‘best practice’ approach on how to cement a regional structure. Your National Executive have been robust in opinion but united in outcome; a CF that truly represents and supports local CFers.

So, six months on, we want your views; on both the Regional Chairman and other aspects of the national organisation. CF has to be as ready as we can be for the upcoming General Election and we want to make sure that we hear the views of the members. This is an exercise to make sure that your organisation best serves you.
