First deliveries in Norwich North

The date of the by-election poll may not have been set yet, but that hasn’t deterred Conservative activists from delivering our first leaflet of Chloe’s election campaign.
The ‘InTouch’ illustrates just how winnable this seat is. Chloe has a gap of 5,500 votes, or 12%, to make up. This is undoubtedly a mountain for us to climb – but one we’ve climbed before in the Crewe and Nantwich by-election last year where we increased our vote by nearly 8,000 to defeat Labour on their home turf with a swing of 17%.
ConservativeHome have an analysis of this weekend’s InTouch.
Next weekend is set to be another round of campaigning. If you can attend contact Sheela Mackintosh, preferably by e-mail sheelamac@divorcelawinfo.co.uk or if easier ring her on 07799 550 036.

It’s definately a winnable seat, of that there’s no doubt, and I think maybe Chloe is a stronger, as in more involved and obviously local, than Edward Timpson was when we did C&T. However, I reckon the public opinion has gone away from us as much as Labour, and a lot of people would vote for an Independent, which is a shame.
To be honest, if I were a PPC at the time of the expenses scandal, I would be livid- they will all suffer a reduced level of victory at least, if not actual losses.
