Yesterday several CF members, including Michael and myself, went along to help the Taxpayers’ Alliance launch the logo and slogan for their campaign: Stop the EU Rip-off!

This is the TPA’s campaign to highlight the cost to taxpayers and consumers of the European Union – £2,000 per person. We gave out leaflets and car stickers to commuters at several train stations (Westminster, Charing Cross, King’s Cross and St Pancras).

The TPA also had two planes pulling banners reading “Stop The EU Rip-Off” over Birmingham and London, as well – video coming soon…

You can get a ‘Stop the EU Rip-off’ car sticker here. You can find out more about yesterday and see more photos here.

Once again the TPA has pulled off a successful campaign day – simple and effective as we showed on our Budget Day leafleting.
