We are in the middle of improving the communication channels for Conservative Future members, which has prevented us from sending the newsletter to all our members. These changes are coming on nicely and will provide an effective membership system for years to come, alongside a more effective way of keeping you all abreast of how CF is progressing all over the UK.

It is starting to get busy in the political world with the European elections and some local council elections looming in early June. I know that once again CF members will form the backbone of these campaigning efforts and we are being fully supported by the Party in targeting marginal seats. We want to reward members as much as possible for this work so please do send us your photos from your campaigning they will be put together into a montage to highlight our dominance over the rest of the political world.

The last few weeks have seen some changes to the National Executive; these will improve the strength and frequency of the support we can offer to you all. The implementation of the Regional Chairmen is going well and we ask branches get in touch with their respective RC – let’s continue to strengthen our organisation, support our Party and further the cause!

In the meantime do continue to visit conservativefuture.com – this website is a platform for all CF members and we welcome contributions from as many CF members as possible.

All the best,

Michael Rock

branches

Branch of the Month

A feature to highlight the great work our branches do, as well as providing advice and ideas to other branches.

CF branches in Cornwall
http://www.conservativefuture.com/2009/03/17/students-cornwall-act-oppose-id-cards/

This month we are not focusing on just one branch, but all the ones in Cornwall. Together they collected hundreds of signatures against ID cards, at the Universities in Cornwall, and went up to London to present them to the Shadow Home Secretary. A really great effort by CF members and something we can replicate across the country.

New Branch map

We have now launched a fully interactive branch map, showing CF branches across all of the UK. Let us know if your branch is not on the map, or the details are incorrect.

CFBranch

A free blog for any CF branch that wants to have one. CF needs to become a much more professional organisation and the starting point for that is to ensure that every branch has effective communication methods in place.
