Big Ben turns 150

The UK Parliament Web Centre has being adding a lot of online content in recent months, and really making great use of web2.0 developments – they are now on Facebook, Twitter, Flickr, Youtube and many more…

2009 is the 150th anniversary of Big Ben, one of the most famous landmarks in the world – and the clock tower that keeps time on politics in our country. 

The UK Parliament has a website section for this anniversary – giving you the history, facts about Big Ben, and how it was built. There is also a number of videos (including the one below of it chiming) about Big Ben here.
